graduated in Physics (1992) and in 1996 got a PhD in Physics, both at
the
University of Zaragoza. From October 1997 to October 1999 was Fulbright
Visting Scholar at the Department
of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT), working in collaboration with Prof.
Terry P. Orlando.
His main research
interest is the study of discrete non linear systems:
Frenkel Kontorova or discrete sine-Gordon chain. Josephson-junction
arrays and devices. Non linear localized excitations: Solitons and
Discrete breathers. Brownian motor and ratchet devices. Dynamics of
biomolecules.
